Project Overview

Following the demolition of a two-storey residential villa in Al Nahda, Sharjah, the property owner required a fully cleared and documented site ready for new planning submissions. The clearance scope included concrete rubble removal, mixed debris sorting, ground grading, and obtaining the final clearance certificate from Sharjah Municipality.

Raseen mobilised within 24 hours of the demolition completion. Using a combination of mini-excavators and manual sorting teams, all 62 cubic metres of debris were removed and transported to a licensed Sharjah disposal facility. The municipality inspector signed off on day three, handing the client a clean, documented plot ready for architect submissions.

Steel reinforcement pulled from the rubble was sorted separately rather than sent to landfill, since scrap steel from site clearance still carries real AED value in Sharjah's current market. Clients clearing a plot in Al Nahda or elsewhere in Sharjah often ask what their recovered steel is actually worth, our live Scrap Metal Rates page tracks current AED prices for steel, copper, aluminium and brass across Sharjah and the wider UAE.

The Challenge

  • ✓Access constraints in a dense residential street in Al Nahda requiring smaller equipment
  • ✓Mixed concrete, timber, and tile debris requiring separate disposal streams
  • ✓Municipality documentation timeline — coordinating inspector visit within the 3-day window
  • ✓Dust suppression requirements in a populated neighbourhood
  • ✓Recovering embedded steel reinforcement from the rubble for scrap value
